Just when we thik the worst is over, 2020 keeps proving us wrong. Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid fame is no more. According to reports, he was admitted to a hospital and was on a ventilator. 

Priyanka Chopra wrote on Twitter, "Trrible News.The one thing I will always remember is Wajid sir laugh. Always smiling. Gone too soon. My condolences to his family and everyone grieving. Rest in peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Muttibaq Wajid Khan was suffering from kidney problem for the last several years, according to the report of the website Filmbeat. He was admitted to the hospital in Mumbai on Sunday evening, where he was kept in a ventilator. At the same time, according to a film journalist, the cause of his death is corona virus.

Sonu Nigam has also paid tribute to Wajid Khan on social media. Sonu Nigam wrote a photo share with Wajid - 'My brother Wajid left us and left'. Wajid Khan gave music to Sonu Nigam's music album Deewana.

Sajid- Wajid was one of the favorite music directors of Salman Khan. Salman Khan gave the pair a break from the film Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya in 1998. After this, he gave music of films like Salman Khan's Tum Nahin Dekho, Tere Naam, Gaurav, Partner, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Wanted, Dabangg and Ek Tha Tiger.
